Hey!!! Welcome back! After our last video, you probably never wanted to see our faces again. But here you are….again. ANYWAY, We will be making S’mores Notebooks. A sweet treat that is also educational. You can make these notebooks however you want. But for now, we will be making the notebooks, school subject wise. So, HERE WE GO!!!

The ingredients you will have to have are:

Vegetable oil (for greasing up the pan)

3 cups of granulated sugar (make sure not to mix up this with regular sugar)

1 ¼ cups of light corn syrup (again please do not get confused)

a pinch of salt

30 graham crackers (We suggest Honey maid. Not sponsored)

A tablespoon of Vanilla Extract

4 packs of gelatin

12 ounces of milk chocolate

6 ounces of white chocolate.

The Materials you will need are:

Two 9×13 inch metal baking pan

2 inch square cookie cutter

Sift

#2 decorating tip

#1 decorating tip

Ok LET’S GO!!!!

First off, You will need to brush BOTH of the 9×13 baking pans with oil and then line that with some parchment paper. Then brush again with oil. OOOH FUN!!!

Next, in a medium bowl, combine all of the granulated sugar, corn syrup, ¾ cup of water, and salt over high heat. Make sure the mixture comes to a boil and constantly mix the mixture.

Next, Place a candy thermometer in the pot and keep checking the temperature until it reaches 238~F.

While that’s going on, pour the ¾  water in a bowl. Lightly pour the gelatin over the water water. Then wait for the gelatin and the water to soften for 5 minutes.

As soon as the candy thermometer hits 238~F, pour that mixture into the gelatin mixture and mix with an electric mixture on the speed of high. Mix all of this until very stiff. Add in the vanilla as well.

Next, Pour the mixture into the lined pans that we mentioned earlier. Smooth the mixture out with a spatula. Let the marshmallow mixture sit for about 3 hours until firm. Also do not cover the mixture. While the mixture is still in the pan, sift some of the powdered sugar onto the marshmallow

Then, sift some powdered sugar onto the table and flip your pan to make sure the marshmallow comes out smoothly.

Use the cookie cutter to cut 24 square marshmallows so they fit on the s’mores. Keep putting powdered sure on top and on the bottom of the marshmallow to keep it non-sticky.

Next, break about, 24 Graham Crackers into half. Those will be the front and back of the books. Break 6 crackers into quarters this time. Those will be the spine of your books.

To decorate, melt the milk chocolate and swipe it up into a decorating bag with the #2 decorating tip. Use the chocolate like a glue, to fit the graham crackers like notebooks.

Make your designs however you would like. For us tho, we will be labeling ours Math, Science, Arts, etc. Melt the white chocolate and use that for the labels and the milk chocolate for the rest of the decoration of the notebook

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS!!!! How to make your own S’mores Notebook.

Don’t forget to comment if this was helpful or not and, we will see if we can make another one of these or not.

Ok PEACE!!!

I like the idea of this recipe. This is something I would probably make at home and I am not a baker. I could have used a bit more description in the overall making of the notebooks.

I like this because you list the ingredients that you need. It is a lot to do, but I think in the end it’s worth it.
