The book and movie were both really good in their own way, yet had many differences that made them somewhat better than the other. The book was released on February 28, 2017 while the movie was released later on October 19, 2018. This book is about drama/crime, the author/director for both the movie and the book make sure you are intrigued and keep turning the pages/keep you curious while watching the movie. Many people have different opinions on ” Which is better the book or movie, ” but in this case, in my opinion, I do think the book was way better than the movie. I would recommend reading the book first then watching the movie. The book has a lot more details than the movie does. In the book, one of my favorite characters was Devante, and when I watched the movie I was pretty upset when he wasn’t in it. But the movie is a little nice visual, sort of ” speaks louder ” than the book does in a way. And if I were to rate both I would rate the book a 10/10 and the movie a 8.5/10!
