Kendrick Lamar has been making music since 2004 and has a lot of experience and that’s what makes him so good. Kendrick has about 65 songs and I have been listening to him for a while and so I have a lot of favorite songs from him and it’s hard to choose only 3 because there are many I like from him.

On number 3 I would put “Alright”. This song is in my top 3 because the song talks about that you are going to be alright through all the tough times that you face and a big part of the song says “we gon be alright”. The song and melody is also very catchy.

On number 2 I will have to put “Swimming Pools” . This song is one of my favorite songs because it talks about alcohol addiction and his experience with it and how he environment was growing up with many people drinking, it mainly talks about that the reason he started was because he wanted to fit in with the popular kids, and it started at a party and someone influenced him to drink more.

On number one I will put “PRIDE”. This is my favorite because it has very meaningful lyrics and the melody is very catchy and sounds great. The song overall is great and I could listen to it on repeat. The song mainly talks about that love is going to get you killed but pride is going to be the death of you, and how different life would be if it was perfect and how he would change many things in the world like he would choose faith over riches, and make schools out of prisons.
