Calm Drawings
I love drawing because there are endless possibilities of what to draw. You could start one thing and then turn it into something else entirely. You could draw realistic or cartoon. Whatever you think of, you can draw. When drawing you could use a pencil, pen, or maker. It doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you enjoy what you’re drawing.
Drawing can be very calming to people. I like how drawing takes my mind off things that stress me out. When drawing you could draw your emotions, or you could draw something that you like or makes you laugh, or just anything you want. Drawing can let your mind reset and rest on something that isn’t stressful. Drawing can also help your imagination grow and expand. Your mind grows and expands by coming up with new ideas and new techniques.
WORLD’S BEST DRAWING PAPER!!!!!!
The best paper to draw on depends on what material you’re using and what you’re trying to make. If you’re doing a quick rough sketch in pencil, you could use Canson Classic Cream Drawing Paper. On this paper, you can easily create darker values with a mid-soft range pencil. Strathmore 400 Series Drawing Paper is another good paper for quick sketching. It erases nicely and is perfect for unfinished projects.
Papers I would not recommend using for drawing are as follows. Arches Cover paper is made for printing and not for sketching. Printing paper is usually too soft for pencil drawing. Strathmore 300 Series Smooth Bristol Board is similar to the Strathmore 400, but the Strathmore 300 doesn’t have enough tooth to hold all the rich blacks. Lanaquarelle Hot Press Watercolor Paper has fibers that become noticeable when being used.
