Now I’m sure many people have grown rather tired of this idea/trope as it was and still is quite a popular theory and there’s still alot of fan art and fanfiction being produced. But no matter how tired you may be of it, you still have to agree that it is very plausible and many parallels have been drawn up between Shigaraki and Midoriya, just a couple of tweaks to the original story and Midoriya could have easily become a villain. For example what if he didn’t latch on to All Might’s leg and just wallowed in what he had said, his resolve would’ve been broken and if he had been approached by a villain who knows he would have agreed.
