What every position does in volleyball
Volleyball is a very fun sport and I think all positions in volleyball are good as long as you’re playing and having fun. Starting with the front position, your outside hitter on the far front left. The outside hitter gets to hit the ball and sometimes bump the ball to the setter. Being outside is very fun and you get a lot of adrenaline playing that position. The next position is a middle hitter. The middle hitter spikes the ball and maybe when the balls are short the middle can pass the ball to the setter. Next to the middle is the setter gets every 2 balls and sets it to the middle or outside hitters.
Next is the back row, the far right is the opposite of the outside hitter but then don’t spike it’s just the opposite of the outside. Personally, It’s really nervous to play that position because I always get nervous. I am going to shank the ball. The next is middle back that’s also the opposite of the front middle hitter for me. I also get very nervous when I’m in that position. Last position is is being in the left back that’s where u receive the ball called serve receive also could be libero depends on what kind of layout they do personally it’s good position because you mostly get every first ball but can be a little difficult bc u have to do a nice high pass to the setter.
Personally I think the best position is an outside hitter because it’s more comfortable for me when I do my approach and you get to bump the ball sometimes.
My Experience in Volleyball
In my opinion I think volleyball is a very fun and entertaining sport. I like playing volleyball games and playing with my friends. I think it’s a fun sport because anyone can play volleyball and you can play with your friends and family. It’s a very popular sport around all countries.
William Morgan was the person who invented volleyball in 1895 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. I personally find volleyball really enjoyable and fun. One thing that I like experiencing in volleyball is the adrenaline you get when you play. I like that feeling because I get very excited and it’s a nice feeling to get. Personally I think all volleyball positions are very fun to play. For example being a setter you mostly get every second ball you can set to people and do tips and overall you get a lot of touches.
I play volleyball for fun and I enjoy playing it especially with my friends and family because it always puts me in a good mood and makes me feel good about myself afterwards. Something I also enjoy about volleyball is playing in games like the adrenaline and excitement of getting a ball, spiking a ball or setting a ball. It’s a nice feeling when you do a good play in a game; I feel good about myself and very happy. Volleyball has sometimes been hard for me because there have been times when I have not played my best and I get a little mad and frustrated with myself, but that’s also sometimes what pushes me to want to play more and try my best and not to give up and it’s normal to make mistakes. I have also made a lot of new friendships while playing volleyball because you have to communicate a lot in volleyball. Overall I think volleyball is very fun and I think I had a good experience playing it so far and I’m excited to keep playing it.
