Inspiration/Start
What was my inspiration for my drawing career? I don’t know, I just thought it was a cool thing to know. My approach isn’t to be super realistic, just cartoony. Most of my drawings are related to Mickey Mouse, not because of him being a childhood influence, but because I’m a fan of the internet depictions. Stuff like creepypastas, horror games and analog horror.
Other than Mickey, I on occasion also draw Oswald or Felix. Following up on the “internet depictions” I’m specifically talking about “it’s just a costume”,”room zero”, white noise and many others.
On paper/iPad
For a long time I’ve been using unused or leftover notebooks if I wanted to draw something. Then one day in late May I got my hands on a sketchbook. For iPad I use this drawing app called “freeform” that I didn’t download manually, it was just given to me in a some update.
My art style in both paper and screen I guess have no difference but have their own benefits. Also the iPad I use didn’t come with an apple pencil but I don’t care. For example, I have “resize” for screen and more “thought process” for paper. Nowadays drawing is just a “hidden” talent I have and don’t intend it to be a career.
