La Michoacana has the best ice cream in Mundelein!
There are many different places where you could get ice cream but Michoacana has the best. The reason why I say that Michoacana has the best ice cream is because they have multiple different flavors and multiple things you can order, not just ice cream! You can order paletas (Popsicle) and these things called micheaguas which is agua fresca which is water with fruit flavors they have lime, cucumber and more! You can also order things that aren’t related to ice cream at all. There are chips and there are elotes. Elotes are corn either on the cob or in a cup with mayonnaise, butter, cheese, sometimes lime and sometimes seasoning like tajin and different types of salsas!
I have stated multiple things on the menu but now I’m going to share what some of my favorite things to order are. My top favorite is definitely getting watermelon ice cream with chamoy on it. My second favorite thing to order is an elote with no salsa on it with an agua horchata, the horchata is so flavorful and sweet and the elote has such a good taste with lime especially. It’s so good.
If you need soft serve ice cream Dairy Dream is where to go!
There are many different places in Libertyville that serve and give out soft serve ice cream but in my opinion Dairy Dream has the best soft serve because they have many amazing flavors and one of my favorite flavors is black cherry. Although the ice cream melts fairly fast it’s so soft and it has such an amazing consistency.
They also had slushies and they have slushy floats that you can put an ice cream flavor of your choice in the slushy and you can pick the flavor of slushy as well, my favorite flavor combination is blue raspberry slushy and vanilla ice cream.
