Drake!

Drake is a rapper. He has 8 albums and 141 singles. My favorite Drake song is Virginia Beach, it’s from his newest album “For all the dogs.” I think the song is amazing, with its lyrics and the music. I think Drake is one of the best rappers right now. Drake is very attached to his music, everything he writes comes from the heart. He knows when to release his songs and how to do it. Drake takes advantage of trends and knows what artists are doing well then he collaborates with them.

Drake won a young author award in 2002. Which in my opinion is another reason why he is the best. Drake dropped out of school to pursue his old career in acting, but he did end up going back to school in later life and graduated in 2012. Drake was also an actor on the TV drama series “Degrassi.”  But now Drake is just sticking with being a songwriter and rapping career.

Frank Ocean!

The singer and rapper Frank Ocean was born with the name Christopher Edwin Breaux.  Later in his life in 2015 he legally changed his name to Frank Ocean. He also made that his artist name for music. I’m glad he changed his name because in my opinion it’s much easier to remember and it sounds better and is much simpler to say. He was born in Long Beach, California, but he was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He is 35 years old at the moment. Frank Ocean is a big fan of cars and has been since he was little.

Frank Ocean wrote his first album in under 2 weeks. That is very little time for a whole album. It was called “Channel Orange.” I think it’s one of his best albums, although “Blonde” is my very favorite album. His first live performance was at Coachella in 2011. His most popular song is “Pink+White” . Which is my favorite song he has ever written and sang. John Legend, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, and Alicia Keys are just some popular and go artists Frank Ocean wrote songs for.
