No modern artist can beat Kanye’s discography

Kanye West is one of the best and most influential artists. Giving us non stop hits like Late Registration and Graduation which both hit #1. Even though Kanye isn’t known for dropping music now he still has the best discography in the hip-hop/rap scene competing with Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne. But even if Kanye doesn’t have as many projects the majority of his albums have 2-3 hits or more. And in my opinion his best album Graduation has over 4.6 billion streams and over 20 million streams on each song.

And not just Graduation, but his 8th studio album, The Life Of Pablo, and his 5th, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, have over 3 billion streams. And even though Kanye may be a controversial topic now, many can still agree that he has put out some of the best music in our generation. And even his latest studio album Donda wasn’t a flop because he had 3-4 hits like “Hurricane” with The Weeknd and “Moon” With Don Toliver.

When you hear the word diverse you think of Kanye  

Kanye West has been known for being very diverse when it comes to publishing albums. From publishing “The Life Of Pablo” which was an album with good songs that had a lot of energy, to his 2018 studio album “ye” which was still a good album but it was more calm and tame to his other albums. He has influenced many artists like Kid Cudi and Childish Gambino where you can hear similarities in their songs to Kanyes. His fame has gotten him recognition by Jay-Z who he made a album with in 2012, and Michael Jackson who said that Kanye’s “808s And Heartbreaks” was one of his favorite albums.

But even though Kanye is known for switching up his style and sound over the years the majority of his albums always get some sort of hype. It’s hard to choose what was Kanye’s best era, but if I had to choose I would go with his 2016 era/My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. I choose this era because to me it has some very good songs by Kanye like All Of The Lights or Monster. But I have to give props to his other albums like Graduation, Late Registration and The Life Of Pablo.
