Spots
There are a lot of spots to go fishing but my all time favorite spot is in Grayslake, Illinois. It’s called Jones Beach, a great spot for bass, carp, bluegill, and sometimes catfish and gar. There is another spot called Fox Lake and it has northern pike, musky, walleye, large mouth bass, crappie, bluegill and other pan fish.
Baits
Top Five fishing baits now there are a lot of baits but I’m here to make that list a lot smaller. To the just top five baits it goes from plastic/artificial to live bait aka worms or minnows. Remember this is a personal choice so if you don’t agree, you’re wrong.
Number one spinner baits I like to use them when I’m fishing for pike or bass. Number two swim baits I like these because they’re good for bass and pickerel or more aggressive fish. Number three worms are good for trout, crappie and perch, pretty small fish but taste good. Number four minnows are good for walleye and northern pike, also a few other fish for the minnows you would want a 4 or 6 size hook. Number five, last one, crank baits. Crank baits are good for fish like salmon or trout or cold water fish.
