Rising Star or Rookie Sensation?

Rising+Star+or+Rookie+Sensation%3F

Is This the Right Choice?

Most people think that Caleb Williams is a one in a million prospect like Patrick Mahomes, but everyone is saying that the historical Chicago Bears should use the Number 1 overall pick to acquire him, but others say that the rising star Justin Fields should be the clear choice for this team. His stats for the past 3 years has not been the best because of the staff changing, and the team not being that good, but now that they have been rebuilding this team to the standard that it needs to be a competitor in the league. Lots of people have different thoughts on this situation and how it can affect this team and then the league. I don’t believe that this is not the right choice of drafting Caleb Williams but at this point in time we have to wait and see if the Chicago Bears can fix this team or make it worse.

Should We Compare Wins?

Most people assign wins to bad quarterbacks so then it makes it look like they are not good enough. Yet in reality they are just climbing up the ranks to be the franchise QB. According to www.statmuse.com “Justin Fields has an 11-29 record in his career” and Caleb Williams has a record of 35-28 ranging between USC and Oklahoma. Most people would say that Caleb has the upper hand because of team wins, but Justin Fields didn’t have a good overall team. Most NFL fans agree that wins are not a way to compare each QB. Yet the others have said for other QB’s that it counts. Justin Fields can carry this team in a way most people can’t see and that is because he’s had 3 years of experience, and we think Caleb Williams is good, but just because a player is good in college doesn’t mean they will be that same player in the league. For example Bryce Young, he was the top prospect in the draft, but it might be that his team was the worst in the league or he is just not built for the starting QB job or the league, just as Caleb Williams.

This is a Make or Break Choice for This Historic Franchise

The Chicago Bears have not had a Hall of Fame Quarterback in over 60 years, and that was because they can’t develop QB’s well, but Justin Fields is that one in a thousand player, just like 2 time MVP Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson has over 5,258 yards on the ground and 15,887 yards in the air, and Justin Fields has 6,674 in the air and 2,220 on the ground, but Lamar has 6 years in the book and Justin only has 3 years. This is a big gap for the development in the two the Baltimore Ravens have had enough time to develop Lamar. The Chicago Bears on the other hand has only had 3 years, so this means that if you draft Caleb Williams you aren’t giving the time to get Justin Fields to the point were he can develop, because Lamar Jackson has weapons and a good defense and overall a all rounded team. Justin Fields has just gotten one weapon and a young defense.

Will the Chicago Bears Make the NFL Flip Upside Down?

If the Chicago Bears draft Caleb Williams, then this could be there second chance at getting something like Patrick Mahomes. In the 2017 NFL draft the Chicago Bears at number 2 after trading the 3rd overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers, to draft a very good looking overall quarterback Mitch Trubisky, and let 3x Super Bowl Champion,  3x Super Bowl MVP, and 2x league MVP Patrick Mahomes fall to the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Chicago Bears draft Caleb Williams they could redeem their winless drought. On the other hand if the Bears keep Justin Fields that already has 3 years of experience in the league then you can just build around him with drafting Marvin Harrison Jr. with trading with the Washington Commanders to get to the second overall. They should stay at the ninth overall and draft an offense lineman or another tight end.
