I have watched a good handful of anime, but one that I just like to watch over and over is Ouran Highschool Host Club. It is only 26 episodes long and each episode is around 25 minutes. It only took me 2 days to finish it and I thought it was pretty good. 5 stars. It follows a highschool student named Haruhi Fujioka, who accidentally joins the school’s host club. The club goes on adventures together, building up to an epic season finale, including many funny low quality images and jokes (if you look hard enough on Youtube, you can find bloopers from the voice actors).

There are only a couple of things that bug me about it. The last episode was uploaded in 2006, and it is 2020 now. Which means that we have been waiting 14 years for a second season. The creators have said multiple times that there will be a season 2, but recently, they declared that there won’t be one, which is kinda sad. Another thing that bugs me is specifically the last 10 minutes of episode 8. Although there is a lot of good character development, I would just skip the last 10 minutes of that episode because that development is brought up again.

Otherwise, Ouran Highschool Host Club is really well written and the characters are interesting. For a 2006 anime, it’s animation is pretty good, despite the low quality images. There is a manga as well if you would rather read it than watch it. There are some slight differences from the manga and anime, but mostly similar and they hit the same character development points. Overall, I give Ouran 9/10 anime points. If at some point while you read this, you decided you wanted to watch it, you can watch it on Tubi, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video.
