John Wayne Gacy Was an American serial killer and rapist. John Wayne Gacy was known as the ‘Killer clown”. He went by “patches the clown” and performed at hospital and charity events. Gacy was born on march 17 in 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were Polish, Gacy grew up with an alcoholic dad who would abuse the kids with a razor strap just if they misbehaved.His father also physically assaulted Gacy’s mother also. Gacy wasn’t allowed to hang out with people at school because of some congenital heart conditions caused by his father. When Gacy started growing up he started realizing that he was attracted to men. Gacy was convicted of sexually assaulting 2 teenage boys and got a 10 year prison sentence. 

The police later discovered that John Wayne Gacy assaulted and murdered 33 young men and boys. Gacy was imprisoned at the Menard correctional center in Illinois for 10 years and a half. He had a 12 minute phone call to declare his innocence but he was still sent to the death row. He was executed by legal injection on May, 10 1994.
