Cristiano Ronaldo was born February 5th 1985 in Funchal Madeira Portugal. To José Dinis Aveiro and his wife Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro. His father was a gardener with the municipality while his mother worked as a cook. Ronaldo was the youngest child among four children; others being a son and two daughters. He was expelled from school because he threw a chair at his teacher. 

He was a keen soccer player and by the time he was 14 years old he decided to concentrate on becoming a professional footballer. Ronaldo had been playing for Androrinha since he was eight. In 1995 Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club ‘Nacional’ located in his home town of Madeira. Following his good show for them he joined one of the biggest clubs in Portugal, named, ‘Sporting CP’ after clearing a trial. In 2003 he started his professional soccer career.

Ronaldo was the top scorer in Real Madrid. He was also a 5 time ballon d’or winner. Also he won 28 golden boots. He also won one international trophy. Another thing he won was top scorer more than once.

Ronaldo has won 29 trophies in his entire career. Including six league titles while playing. Five UEFA Champions Leagues, one UEFA European Championship. He also won one UEFA Nations League. He scored 26 goals in total while playing for Juventus.
